Medford, Ore. -- The best and the brightest wiffle ball players from across the region stepped up to the plate Sunday.
It was the first ever world series of wiffle ball.
Teams of two took to Harry and David Field and there were some strict rules.
Bases are earned by how far the wiffle ball is hit without the fielder getting to it.
The unique event was put on by the City of Medford,
The winners? Congratulations to Ryan Au-Chino and Will Miller. They took the tittle with a 15-4 win.
It's an event that Medford Parks hopes to do several times a year.
