It's become a local Halloween tradition that's as popular as trick-or-treating. It's the Annual Halloween Parade in Ashland. From the spooky to the unique, expect some creative costumes. The parade starts at the library and will wind through the downtown area. Kids can get the trick-or-treating started early. Downtown merchants will be handing out candy. So check out some cool costumes, and satisfy your sweet tooth, this Saturday beginning at 3:15.

Ashland isn't the only place participating in halloween hoopla. Vogel Plaza in Medford will be transformed into a spooktacular party. Your little fairy princesses or superhero can collect some treats, get their face painted, or decorate pumpkins. There will be costume contests, so be sure to dress up. The fun begins at 3:30 this Saturday.

Pumpkins, costumes, and candy may be on every child's mind this weekend, but antiques will be featured at the Medford Armory, as a fundraiser for Dogs for the Deaf.
