Oregon's largest street painting and musical festival returns to Grants Pass this weekend. For the seventh year in a row local artists will decorate and transform the sidewalks at Riverside Park into visual masterpieces. This year one artist out of Ventura, California is expected to create a 16 x 28 foot 3D pastel painting. Feel like creating your own artwork? For $5 you can purchase a 2-foot square of the sidewalk and draw next to the pros. Regional bands will entertain the crowds, while local restaurants will set up booths to tempt tastebuds. The event runs Saturday and Sunday.
Shake your groove thing, and enjoy some local brews, at the 5th Annual Brews and Boogie this weekend. The event is hosted by Scienceworks, with proceeds going toward educational programs. Organizers are expecting to have ten regional breweries on site, and three different local bands. You're going to want to leave the kiddies at home, this is for ages 21 and up.
