Halloween is still more than a week away, but ghosts and goblins will be terrorizing the Rogue Valley beginning this friday. The "Circus of Screams Haunted House" is back in Eagle Point. This an annual fundraiser for both Eagle Point and Rogue River's High School wrestling teams. The house is located off of Highway 62 between White City and Eagle Point and will run every day through Halloween. Admission is $7 or $5 with a can of food for Access Food Share.

Dress up and help a furry four-legged friend this weekend at the 18th Annual "Puss 'n Boots Ball." There will be live music and dancing, a gourmet dinner buffet, silent and live auctions, and prizes will be awarded for best costumes. The event supports the Jackson County Friends of the Animal Shelter programs, which include spaying and neutering, helping low income families adopt a pet, and medical issues.

Shady Cove is getting in the holiday spirit with their first ever "Pumpkins in the Dell Harvest Festival.
